PRERANA – four days’ residential personality development camp: A Consolidated Report

“My faith is in the younger generation, the modern generation, out of them will come my workers. They will work out the whole problem like lions” said Swami Vivekananda. At this critical junction when the youths are witnessing fast erosion of values around them and are in dire need of a person & philosophy to guide and motivate them, swami Vivekananda stands as a unique example having an appeal that cuts across barriers like class, race, religion etc. He is one of those rare figure whose legacy far outstripped the influence he wielded during his life time.

Hence Ramakrishna Math, Mangalore  organized   PRERANAfour days residential personality development camp for youths in ashram premises from 24th to 27th December 2015. In all, 75 youth delegates took part representing more than 12 districts of the state.

Along with PRERANA, delegates also witnessed 69th annual celebration of Ramakrishna Math Mangalore in Vivekananda auditorium.

Swami Atmavidanandaji Maharaj, Swami Anupamanandaji Maharaj, Swami Dharmavrathanandaji Maharaj, Swami Shanthivrathanandaji Maharaj, Dr. R Balasubramanyam, Sri Subramanya, Sri C V Gopinath, Sri Mohan Kumblaker & Capt. Ganesh Karnik were the resource persons who enlightened the  delegates.
