Ashrama released a book on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The book is translated by Sri Arya Laxminarayan Alva. To reach out to more and more students the Central Govt. has subsidized the booklet.
On the 18th December the book was released in a solemn function at the hands of Dr. N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor, Nitte University. Sri Ramesh Kedilaya, Retired lecturer, Mangalore introduced the book to the audience. Swami Jitakamanandaji presided the meeting and Swami Sureshanandaji graced the occasion with his presence. Some newly brought out posters were also released during the event. All the participants were distributed released booklet free of cost.
The releasing function was followed by Bharatanatya Janapada Nritya Vaibhava by Natyanjali Nritya Academy, Surathkal directed by Vidwan Sri Chandrashekar Navada.
